Habitat At Grouse Ridge

Our 160 acres is 75% forested with 25% field/brush cover. In addition to abundant acorns from many varieties of oak, wild grape, sumac and diverse browse, we maintain five acres of Tecomate food plots. We do our own logging and practice intensive habitat improvement. With the adjacent agriculture in creek and river bottoms, corn and soybeans complete an ideal nutritional diet for our wildlife. Combining state and national forests with adjacent private land we have access to approximately 1,000 acres. Both ground blinds and tree stands are utilized on our owned property
